Call for Papers:
In the last few decades, we have experienced a substantial increase in the volume of scientific literature related to social science research and a trend is expected to continue. This opens up fundamental challenges including information infrastructure and representation of scientific knowledge, thereby making those scholarly resources accessible to social scientists. This is the first time in India that such a unique multidisciplinary conference is being offered to all the stakeholders of social science research, including those interested in providing services to academic researchers of social science.
The main objective of IISSRI-2023 is to provide a forum for researchers, practitioners, and other stakeholders from different domains of social sciences to present, educate and guide for scientific knowledge and skills. Specifically, we foresee five main themes that cover the most important challenges in this field: a) Information Infrastructure and knowledge representation, b) Access to Information Resources and Services, c) Digital Landscape and Open Scholarship, d) Research Data Curation and Stewardship, e) Sustainable Research Ecosystem.
The conference calls for the full-length research papers (up to 5000 words), short-communications (early research results up to 2500 words), poster presentations, demos, and project reports on the theme and sub-themes (but not limited to). The submissions will describe original work and provide insights into new or emerging areas, innovative applications, and state of the art reports.
Unpublished research papers are invited for presentation in the conference. All the submitted papers will be reviewed by a panel of experts in the respective areas. Selected papers will be published in the post conference volume from a reputed publisher with ISBN.
Authors are encouraged to think out of the box and be creative in showcasing what is happening in their field. The review criteria include the relevance of the agenda, novelty of research, clarity, and originality or significance of the contribution, and quality of presentation.
